Approximately 20 hours / week
Our church is seeking a part-time Worship Minister to lead and coordinate the music ministry of our congregation. This person will work closely with our volunteer musicians, choir members, and A/V team to create meaningful worship experiences that support the spiritual life of our church.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading congregational singing and musical worship during Sunday morning services and special holiday services.
- Working with the Pastor to select music that complements and supports sermon themes.
- Planning and directing rehearsals for the praise band and choir.
- Coordinating with volunteer musicians and helping develop their gifts for worship leadership.
- Collaborating with A/V and media volunteers to support basic audio and visual needs during worship services.

Do you love joyful music? Do hymns make you grin?

Our church is searching, both far and so near,
For a Worship Minister we’d love to have here!
About twenty hours each week you would spend,
Leading our music from beginning to end.
On Sundays and holidays, all bright and all merry,
You’ll help us lift praises both cheerful and airy.
You’ll work with our Pastor, who’ll gladly explain
The theme of the sermon and its holy refrain.
Then you’ll choose tunes together to fit just right,
Like stars that belong in the cool evening light.
You’ll rehearse with the choir, the band, and the crew,
Helping each volunteer know just what to do.
You’ll partner with techs who run screens, sound, and more,
To keep everything humming from ceiling to floor.
